Fluoride Varnish

 

High dose fluoride varnish is applied to patients’ teeth following dental cleanings. Fluoride varnish helps to strengthen enamel and prevent tooth decay. In addition to children, many adults can also benefit from fluoride varnish treatments including adults with existing crowns or bridges, high amounts of decay, limited dexterity (inability to properly brush and floss at home), and/or severe medical conditions (especially cancer).
